voc-miner: what customers actually say

Message & offer Cowork-ready

Turns your customers’ actual words into the raw material every other skill cites. Feed it reviews, support tickets, post-purchase surveys, ad comments and call transcripts, and it produces three things:

  1. The objection map: what stops people buying, in their words, ranked.
  2. The customer language bank: the phrases they actually use, which is almost never the phrasing your marketing uses.
  3. The VOC claim bank: claims your pages and ads can make, each traced to three or more exact verbatims.

Quotes ship exact, never cleaned up. The typos and the run-ons are the evidence. A tidied quote is an invented quote.

The provenance gate is strict on purpose: a claim without three real verbatims behind it does not get banked. The original exports are kept and never rewritten, because a corpus that verifies itself against an index it also wrote proves nothing.

  • Onboarding any client who has reviews or a support inbox. This is the highest-leverage hour you will spend.
  • Before writing copy, so the copy uses their words instead of yours.
  • Before scoring an offer, since the value-equation scoring leans on this evidence.
  • “What objections do we actually need to handle?”

Both. Read-only.

  • Raw customer text, in volume. Review exports, a Gorgias or Zendesk export, survey responses, call transcripts, comment exports. More is genuinely better.
  • Nothing pre-cleaned. Do not summarize before handing it over. The summary is what it is trying to build.

If you have nothing yet, it says so rather than inventing a corpus, and points you at what to collect.

  • The objection map, ranked by frequency and intensity, each entry carrying its verbatims.
  • The language bank: their nouns, their verbs, their comparisons.
  • The claim bank, each claim carrying its bank id so downstream skills can cite it.
  • A provenance verdict on the corpus itself, so you know how much weight it can carry.

You: “Mine the reviews for examplebrand.”

Top objection is not price. It is upkeep, appearing in 34 verbatims: “i dont want another thing to maintain”, “the trash can and ice version lasted me a week lol”. Banked claim VOC-011: buyers who quit DIY cite maintenance, not cost, as the reason. Traced to 7 verbatims. Language bank: they say “cold plunge,” never “cold immersion therapy,” which is what the category’s own marketing says.

  • This is the input that makes everything else specific. Angles, hooks, copy and offer scoring all get sharper with a real bank behind them and stay generic without one.
  • Never clean the quotes. If a quote appears in a deliverable with the grammar fixed, it has stopped being evidence.
  • Three verbatims minimum per claim is the floor. One striking review is an anecdote, and anecdotes are how brands convince themselves of things that are not true.
  • Keep the raw exports. They are the only thing that can verify the bank later.
